Scott Gray: 'Someone stick the kettle on?'

Scotland 41-0 Canada

Scotland swapped football nets for rugby posts and enlisted the subs to help clear the snow off the pitch beforehand, but even a crushing 41-point victory mattered little for their World Cup fate, courtesy of Ireland's win over Argentina.

Nikki Walker doubled his international try scoring tally with two while Ben Cairns, Alasdair Strokosch and John Barclay all got off the mark before Rory Lamont completed the rout with Scotland's sixth score.
