Felipe Contepomi: '...Don't cry for me Argentina...'

Can you believe it’s almost a year to the day that Felipe Contepomi kicked Argentina into a record-breaking World Cup semi-final? Well 2007 was a great year all round for the Pumas star, realising another life’s ambition by becoming a doctor. Speaking as an ambassador for Rugby Expo, Dr. Phl became ScrumoftheEarth’s latest patient…

'It's good this laughing gas malarkey...'

Whoever said blondes have more fun must've been in the South African dressing room when Jean de Villers is around. The serial joker leads by example and had it not been for persistent injuries, the Western Province inside centre would've been the star of the 2007 Rugby World Cup. Always looking ahead, the 27-year-old from Paarl, showed exactly what we missed out on with a string of glittering performances in the recent Tri-Nations. Ladies and gents, it's Bukio

Josh Lewsey: 'This guy will never be as big as me'

Josh Lewsey must be getting upset by all this attention Mr. Cipriani is receiving. Reports this morning filtering out of Wasps' Acton training ground suggests the England pair exchanged blows during a contact drill when Cipriani told Lewsey to "shut up or get shut up."

The club has been quick to pour cold water on the incident and the pairs relationship, putting it down to mere testosterone and the physicality that is part and parcel of the game.

How Lewsey can criticise Cipriani for missed tackles we do not know? How many blunders has it been this year Josh? At least two wins worth! Maybe all this talk of Danny playing full-back is touching a nerve.

Putting a positive spin on it... Kelly's kisses should do the trick.

Michael Owen: 'Ryan Jones needs a hair-cut anyway'

He might've left Wales for Saracens, but number eight Michael Owen is targeting a swift return after a string of impressive outings has prompted calls for an international return.

Owen said: "I'd be delighted to be back in the Welsh side and I'd never rule myself out of playing for my country."
