'I'm more of a Bourgoin man Sharon'

Bourgoin haven’t won on the road since 2002, while Gloucester are unbeaten in the pool and have won 13 out of their last 15 matches on home soil in the Heineken Cup. As a match-up, it’s like choosing between Eva Mendes or Sharon Osbourne for a date.

While Sharon and her X-Factor buddies will be preparing for Saturday’s ITV final, Leinster need to pull their socks up and score a heavy win in Edinburgh. They face a task as hard as knocking Leona Lewis off number one if they don’t take all the spoils.

Who would’ve thought that Bristol would be genuine contenders in Pool 3, well after this weekend they could be on top. Harlequins have lost six on the bounce and have seemingly given up, filling the back-line with the kids. At least David Strettle’s back on the wing.

Saracens could put out their second string and still beat Viadana, so another romp is on the cards on Sunday. It’s unlike the Italian’s to be so forgiving but maybe Chris Jack’s staying afterwards for a signing session.

A couple of Dragons thoroughly enjoyed their weekend in Italy but there won’t be any Laura Esposto look-alikes in Newport on Saturday night, so the Treviso players can expect a quick beating and the last flight out of Cardiff on Saturday.
