'...I dunno Carl, I hear Newcastle's a dive...'

Gloucester have been busy in the forward supermarket. Following Adam Eustace and Dave Young rolling into Kingsholm yesterday, All-Black prop Greg Somerville completed a move from the Canterbury Crusaders.

Somerville is New Zealand's most capped prop in history after making his 59th appearance against England while he destroyed Andrew Sheridan & Co in Auckland.

The 30-year-old prop, who can play on either side of the scrum, will join up with his new teammates in December after the NPC season concludes after signing a two-and-a-half-year deal.

Eustace spent a sabbatical season at the Scarlets but will return to the Cherry & Whites, hoping to add to his 191 caps for the club while Young joins from Leicester Tigers - both on one year deals.
