Leeds Carnegie’s season is threatening to go from bad to worse after Brive’s shock win in Galway on Friday night that followed their disappointing defeat in dire conditions in Castres on Thursday.

The French side are almost certain to qualify as one of the three best runners-up and tries from Farid Sid, Jawad Djoudi
and centre Suka Hufanga helped them to a 22-15 victory.

Dax made it a double delight for France with a 22-0 home win over Calvisano - their first of the competition.
