My aunty and uncle were the first people to cycle around the world in a tandem They're in the Guinness Book of World Records. That’s my non-rugby claim to fame.

 

I’m just getting back into the French horn, I played a lot as a youngster and I’d like to join an orchestra at some point, but because we don’t play full-time like the men, I have a job as an office manager in a sports centre, which is quite convenient for training.

 

I wear my socks down I can’t stand having them around my knees I’m not that superstitious so I don’t want to depend on rituals

 

It sounds really lame but my dad and brothers are my heroes. I never saw my dad play but he was a No.8 just like me and I’ve heard some really good stories about him. From the men’s game, Martin Johnson holds this aura, both as a captain and a player and that just inspires people - he was just awesome.

 

I am a mix between Zinzan Brooke and Dean Richards I like to think I can bosh it up as well as running past people, I’ve got a few skills in the locker and I’ve started developing the odd side-step, so i’m quite an open player.

 

Within the England team there’s this back-row unity Us forwards tend to stick together. I’ve met some of my best mates through rugby, especially at university who will be with me for life.

 

I do get the odd chocolate craving, which is probably just because I’m a girl I’m very disciplined with my diet although but I love my mum’s Sunday roast. If I’ve ever get a weekend off, I try and go home and get cooked for. I live by the sea so I love my walks.

 

I reckon I could chat my way out of any trouble. I don’t’ think I’d find myself down a dark alley in the early hours of the morning, but all rugby players are big gentle giants really and essentially rugby people like me,
