Hopefully going onto be a broker or a trader. I’d probably be at university enjoying the student life if I wasn’t playing rugby.
I’m a bit of a homeboy. I like to go and see the family and there’s a few of the boys here that like go-karting or have a round of golf from time to time. We did manage to get out to La Manga, which was awesome.
The last time I was embarrassed was I’ve got quite small hands. We had a hospital visit and some of the Irish boys forced me to have a ‘hand-off’ with a little baby, which was just for banter and there are quite a few nicknames I’m not too proud of.
It was hilarious. I was watching a friend playing for Colstons School twos and he was waiting to receive the ball from the right. He tried to run from his own goal line and unbeknown to him, he turned and threw himself into the post and knocked himself out.
Did u know? I used to play the piano and sax when younger
I was played off park: It was my first game at Newcastle two years ago. When Jonny Wilkinson came on we were winning by 20 points and Jonny just pushed the switch and nearly won the game single handily. It was an amazing experience to play against him on my debut, but I was pretty young and it was a bit of a reality check.
I’d save my mobile (laughs), I’d probably save my laptop too, especially with all the photos of the good times with the boys, my family and ex-girlfriends…

"His distribution is brilliant, he can pass over defenders and it creates so much more out wide."
