I would've loved to play against Bryan Habana. It was a shame I couldn't play against him on the summer tour. He's arguably the best winger in world at the moment and there's no one better to face than him.

I do like the gym although I don't seem to get many benefits, size wise! With me, if I ease off, unlike a lot of players, I lose weight. It's something I keep on top of. When you were finishing rugby at Rotherham you'd be thinking I've got to go to the gym now, but at Quins, when you've finished rugby, you've finished the gym and finished for the day so it's quite good… Although I'm off to the gym now [ laughs...]

Trying to tackle Jordan Turner Hall is a challenge. He's only 19 or 20 but he's like a little cannonball with a good low centre of mass, so trying to bring him down is very hard work.

It's very important chilling out on your days off with such an active job. I'll wake up on Sunday after a hard game and feel like i've done a good job and earned my rest. i'll have a lie in followed by a fry-up and then i'll probably be relaxing for the rest of the day… You tend to live for your days off and being lazy, chilling on the sofa, watching a bit of television.

I like my motorbikes. I had to sell mine when I came down here. It's a nightmare being in London when all you want is a bit of fresh air and just to get out on the bike and have a blast and clear your mind.

I try not to make any fashion statements. I'm very dapper [laughs...] Nah I'm pretty low key, just a pair of boardies or jeans with a t- shirt… very casual.

Pepperoni Passion Domino's pizzas and crispy cream donuts, I love them! They're my biggest indulgences. I can eat well if I have too, but luckily enough I tend not to have an adverse affect to eating badly.

I met Dustin Hoffman not to long ago. You're very lucky in sport because you can go to different events and you meet famous people all the time. I've met John Major, Jackie Chan at the Hong Kong 7s, and Piers Brosnan.

I signed my first autograph at Rotherham when I was about 19 or 20. You feel a bit stupid but you're like 'are you serious?' The nicest thing is when people come and ask for your autograph and they feel embarrassed to do it.  It's like people are saying good at your job they appreciate what your doing.
